Santa Rosa County Commissioners joined Element Outdoors on Fri., Dec. 16, for the ribbon cutting ceremony of their facility in the Santa Rosa County Industrial park. The opening marks a new chapter for the online retail store.

Element Outdoors is an outdoor hunting apparel distributor that began as a small privately-owned company operating out of Chris Nallick's home garage in Pace. The company quickly outgrew the garage and eventually partnered with Expedition Outdoors. The partnership took the company to Iowa, but his family drew Nallick back home to Santa Rosa County.

"I am excited to work with Element Outdoors to bring their operations facility to Santa Rosa County," said District 1 Commissioner Sam Parker. "This is another great addition to our county that will provide jobs for people in our community.

With the help of Santa Rosa County Commissioner, Sam Parker, and the Office of Economic Development, Santa Rosa County Executive Director, Shannon Ogletree, the company was able to return home to a 20,000-square-foot warehouse. The new location at 7999 Armstrong Road is already running out of room for the rapidly expanding business.

Element Outdoors currently has six employees and hopes to grow its workforce quickly. The company also hopes to eventually be housed in a 100,000-square-foot warehouse in Santa Rosa County's new Milton Interchange Park.
