COVID has provided yet another “opportunity” for the Resource Center, a new look for ShoutOut. Fewer words, more pictures and links if you want to read more on a topic. Whattaya think?

Join us LIVE in Gulfport and/or on ZOOM for the sixth annual ReadOut Festival! Readings, workshops and panels will feature well-known and new authors. Complete this SURVEY to share your suggestions.

Kimberly Malhoit is a graphic designer, filmmaker and cinematographer with over 16 years experience designing branding solutions for individuals, events, festivals and non-profit organizations. Her client portfolio includes such clients as BronzeLens Film Festival, African American Film Critics Association, Jennifer Holiday and more.

Kimberly is an award winning filmmaker and director for her first short film, "Hidden Hysteria". She has a passion to tell stories which accurately portray humanity in every variation including race, religion, identity and culture. 

Pete Rintye has spent the last 15 years as a sales executive at Direct Mail Systems in St Petersburg, where he focuses on establishing and maintaining relationships with corporate and non-profit clients.

Currently, Pete is a member of the St Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and part of the Leadership Team of the Nexus Chapter of Business Networking International (BNI), where he has served as Secretary/Treasurer, Vice President, President and on the Membership Committee. He was formerly on the Board of the Alexandria (VA) Performing Arts Society.

Jana is a five-year resident of Gulfport and a twenty-year resident of Florida. Shortly after moving to Florida Jana opened a Fair Trade gallery, Caribbean Artworks, INC. in St Petersburg, FL. It has been some of the most rewarding work experience in her diverse professional career.

Jana’s volunteer activities have included ten years as a volunteer firefighter & hazmat technician, Habitat for Humanity volunteer and a Girl Scout Troop leader among many others. She looks forward to adding her voice and skills to the LGBTQ Resource Center of Gulfport.
