Downtown Tree Walk at Downtown St. Albans

Downtown sparkles with beautifully lit and decorated trees, displayed in merchant windows. Open 24/7! Pick a time that works for you and your family, bundle up, and enjoy a local Winter Wonderland!

November 25, 2023

5-7 pm: Tree Lighting & Laser Show at Taylor Park

Join us in Taylor Park to kick off the Holiday Season with an awesome new laser light show and beautiful lighting of the trees. Santa will magically appear! Santa will ride in with the Fire Department for this magical evening! There will also be a Hot Cocoa booth.

4:30 - 6 pm: Holiday Winter Games & Sleigh Rides at Taylor Park

November 28, 2023

6 pm: Holiday  PJ Story Time at Saint Albans Free Library

Children of all ages are invited to wear their holiday PJs and join us as we ring in the season with some stories, songs, snacks, and a fun craft!

6 PM: Holiday Movie at Welden Theatre

As part of the St Albans Festival of Trees celebrations, we are hosting a FREE holiday movie screening! The film is *officially* a secret (to keep it free!), but watch our socials for clues, and we promise it will be one the whole family can enjoy!

6-8PM: Holiday Paint Party - Tickets $45

Come enjoy a fun holiday themed paint event at Awaken Yoga & Creative Arts Studio. Enjoy delicious locally made charcuterie, have some laughs and get into the holiday spirit! $5 for each ticket goes to support veterans through the Joshua Pallotta fund.

6-12 PM: Holiday Masquerade Gala

Join us for an Enchanted Holiday Masquerade: Unveiling Elegance and Mystery, an unforgettable evening of magic, art, and music. Doors open at 6pm with delicious food and cocktails. Support our veteran artists at our live art auction at 7pm. Wear your own mask or choose one from our selection to add mystique. Dance the night away with DJ Bun from 8pm to midnight. December 2, 2023

9 AM - 4 PM: Holiday Entertainment at City Hall

Join us at beautiful City Hall to enjoy the amazing talent of our local dance troops. Holiday themed dances for all ages.

11 AM - 2PM: Santa's Workshop at Saint Albans Museum

Games, Crafts, Cookies, and More! All ages are welcome at Santa’s Workshop.

Vets, Love, and Fashion Show!

Come and celebrate our local service members and all they do for our community.  We received nominations from our local community and these nominees will be pampered by Salon Elixir, dressed, and dolled up. They will walk the Red carpet in the City Hall Auditorium.  We will share their amazing work and honor them with a night out!! Please join us and help us celebrate these amazing folks!!  All proceeds raised will go directly to the Josh Pallotta Fund.

11 AM - 1 PM: Holiday Brunch at City Hall

Come to City Hall and enjoy a fabulous brunch and bar catered by Nelly's Pub & Grill. There will be music provided including he amazing Green Mountain Chorus  and the fabulous MVU and BFA Jazz Ensembles.

We will also have the fabulous Miss Northwestern Vermont's Teen Aubrianna Mayette here to meet and greet. She will share information about her community service initiative The Orange Ribbon Project raising awareness about Self Harm and mental health. Come and meet this amazing Teen and learn more about her.

3 PM: Citizens Band at First Congregational Church
