On April 24th, the Florida Democratic Party released its schedule of events and training opportunities and announced special guests Rick Wilson and Brandon Wolf as featured speakers at Leadership Blue Weekend in Orlando next month. 

From May 3-5, over 1,000 Democrats are expected to join Florida Democrats at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for Leadership Blue Weekend 2024. Ahead of the annual gala dinner, the program includes Town Hall style events focused on engaging Black and Hispanic voters, panel discussions, messaging training opportunities and more.

Rick Wilson is the co-founder of the Lincoln Project, a renowned political strategist, award-winning ad-maker, New York Times best-selling author and Florida native. He will be headlining the ticketed Leadership Reception on Saturday, May 4th at 6 p.m. ahead of the premiere Leadership Blue gala dinner.

Brandon Wolf

Brandon Wolf is a survivor of the Pulse nightclub mass shooting and nationally recognized gun safety and LGBTQ+ civil rights advocate. Wolf will be joining us for a panel discussion on gun safety and violence prevention on Saturday, May 4th at 12 p.m.
