Free Learning Series 'Little Kids, Big World' Featured at North Dakota Heritage Center and State Museum

Bismarck, ND - Toddlers and preschoolers are invited to the free interactive learning series "Little Kids, Big World" at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. These interactive 30-minute programs introduce children to North Dakota’s fascinating history. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

"Little Kids, Big World" classes are offered in a large public space with social distancing considerations. Each child is provided with their own supplies. Children and their parents or guardians are asked to meet at the east entrance information desk.

Oct. 7 Northern Lights Wonder, 2 and 3 p.m. Have you ever seen the northern lights? Look at the northern lights in our “On the Edge of Wind: Native Storytellers & the Land” exhibit and create your own northern lights!

Oct. 10 Northern Lights Wonder, 10 a.m. Have you ever seen the northern lights? Look at the northern lights in our “On the Edge of Wind: Native Storytellers & the Land” exhibit and create your own northern llghts!

Oct. 14 Putting Together Dinosaur Bones, 10 and 11 a.m. Did you know that paleontologists must put together dinosaur bones to display them? Build your own dinosaur using fun supplies.

Oct. 21 Pumpkin Fun! 10 and 11 a.m. It’s pumpkin season! Listen to a fun story about pumpkins and decorate one to take home.

Oct. 24 Pumpkin Fun! 10 a.m. It’s pumpkin season! Listen to a fun story about pumpkins and decorate one to take home.

Oct. 28 Can You See Me? 10 and 11 a.m. It’s almost Halloween! Hear a fun Halloween story and make a fun mask!
