September 15, 2022

11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.: The Animal weigh in schedule TBD by September 1st. Please call Monica Bartlow, at the WSU/Garfield County Extension office, 509-843-3701, to get the complete schedule, or visit the Fair & Rodeo page on the Garfield County website, https://www.co.garfield.wa.us/fairrodeo. All beef, sheep and goat market animal exhibitors must turn in their Health Record/QA paperwork at weigh-com.
Note: Exhibitors must designate a market sale animal at time of weigh-in by “sale, turn or take-out".

6:00 P.M.: 4-H Horse Show Games

September 16, 2022

7:30 a.m.
Pens and stalls of animals brought in on Thursday must be clean.
Exhibitors must feed & water their own animals!

8:00 a.m.
Animals to be shown on Friday must be on the grounds.
Judging of Poultry and Rabbits.

8:30 a.m.: 4-H and FFA Livestock Judging CDE/Contest begins.

10:30 a.m.: Open Beef Show

12:00 p.m.: Noon Swine Show
Open, 4H and FFA Market Swine Confirmation Classes (FFA followed by 4H

12:30 p.m. Beef Show
Beef Fitting and Showing demonstration with the beef judge.
Little Partners Fitting and Showing.
4-H and FFA Market Steer Confirmation Classes (Classes alternate 4-H and FFA. Class one depends on whether there are more 4-H or FFA classes).
4-H Market Steer Fitting and Showing (Seniors, Intermediates and then Juniors); followed by FFA Fitting and Showing (FR/Sophomore, followed by Junior/Senior)

3:00 p.m. Sheep Show
FFA Market Lambs, followed by 4H Market Lambs, followed by Open Market.
FFA Breeding Stock, followed by 4H Breeding Stock, followed by Open.
Goat Show (immediately following Sheep Show)
Judging of all goat classes-4-H, FFA and Open by Premium Book classes.

September 17, 2022

7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.: Weighing of 4-H & FFA Feeder Steers for show and Rate-of-Gain Contests. All stalls and pens must be clean. Exhibitors must feed & water their own animals!

8:15 a.m.: Swine Show
Swine Fitting and Showing (Open Class, FFA followed by 4-H).

9:00 a.m.: Little Partners Beef Fitting and Showing (optional 2nd show).

9:30 a.m.: Beef Show
4-H and FFA Feeder Steer Confirmation Classes (alternate beginning with FFA; FFA Champion selected before 4H Champion).
4-H Feeder Steer Fitting and Showing (Seniors, Intermediates and then Juniors); followed by FFA Fitting and Showing (FR/Sophomore, followed by Junior/Senior).

11:00 a.m.: Sheep and Goat Show
Lamb Fitting and Showing demonstration with lamb judge.
4-H Fitting and Showing Classes (Senior, Intermediate, then Junior); followed by FFA Fitting and Showing (Freshman/Sophomore, followed by Junior/Senior); followed by Open Class Fitting and Showing.

1:00 p.m.: Round Robin - Begins Immediately Following The Sheep/Goat Show.

3:00 p.m.: Free Ice Cream and Cake sponsored by the WSU Garfield County Extension Office in the Beef Arena.

3:15 p.m.: 4-H and FFA Group Pictures in the Beef Arena

3:45 p.m.: Presentation of 4-H and FFA Livestock Awards in the Swine Arena.

4:00 p.m.: Market Livestock Sale-Order will be all grand champion livestock, all reserve champion livestock, purple ribbon steers, the rest of the steers, goats, lambs, hogs.

September 18, 2022

8:00 a.m.: 4-H Horse Show begins in Horse Arena, immediately followed by Open Horse and Trail Show.

9:00 a.m.: All stalls & pens must be cleaned. All exhibitors must feed and water their own animals.

4:00 p.m.: Fair Ends! All livestock & Horse Exhibitors must clean out their pens and Stall areas before leaving grounds! Check out with your Barn Superintendent!
