From: Guilford County Schools

What: The last few years are documented as some of the most challenging in history.

Now, more than ever, students and staff need champions who continue to show up for them. On Tuesday, Guilford County Schools administrators will join Superintendent Dr.  Whitney Oakley and Representative Kathy Manning to highlight the strides being made in schools with mental health supports and call for additional resources to be allocated to districts across the country.

Superintendent Oakley will also formally thank Representative Manning for her continued commitment to GCS and for securing $2.2 million to expand learning hubs. This expansion will be introduced to middle schools and follow the same format as successful learning hubs currently in GCS high schools.

When: Tuesday, February 14, 1:30 p.m.

Where: Guilford County Schools Central Office Board Room, 712 Eugene Street, Greensboro.
