Welcome our new Board Chair, Michael Knowles!

Mike has been a member of the GSO Board for a year, and began serving as Board Chair on January 01, 2023.

Michael Knowles has been a Cobb resident for over 27 years, and resides in Kennesaw, Ga with his wife Pauline. He works as a Senior Relationship Manager for Fifth Third Bank, and sits on the board of many Cobb county organizations. 

Michael has previously served as a Chair for Cobb Travel & Tourism, Cobb Community Foundation, Chattahoochee Technical College, and North Metro Technical College.  

As Board Chair, Michael is looking forward to,

"Continuing our seventy-two-year-old tradition of providing great musical programs for our patrons and making a positive impact to our children, veterans, and seniors in the communities we serve."
