Ghostport 2023! the 13th year of spooky fun!

Ghostport turns 13! in downtown Bucksport. We are still dusting off from our sleep in the crypt, this means that not all past events are happening but most are! Two events are clawing their way back to celebrate! The Family Dance and the Wizard's Magic show are awaiting funding. We are also working on a later event for adults, stay tuned.

This Halloween-themed event offers something for all ages. Whether it’s the spooky or the sweet that you seek, Ghostport is the place for fall fun. Visit Spirited Vendors all along the Bucksport Water Front Walkway. Multiple activities are provided by area Non-profits along the walkway and on Main street. Make a craft and get a treat at the Buck Memorial Library. speaking of treats, Join in our own Trunk or Treat event right at the marina on the water. Contact The Bucksport Recreation Dept. if you want to pass out candy. Show off your creative skills in the carved pumpkin contest put on by Bolt Fabrics and Edward's Bakery or skip the carving altogether and launch your pumpkin into the Penobscot using our trebuchet. Bring your little Ghoul to BookStacks for a spooky story or if they are really brave go to the "just scary enough" free movie thanks to the Alamo Theatre. Right as the sun sets, be the thing that goes "bump in the night " at our family friendly dance in the Seaboard Federal Credit Union's Spooky Shelter in Front of the Bucksport Historical Society.

The shuttle bus will go from Main Street to 2023 Fright at the Fort - from 5 until 8:15 PM
