TOPEKA – Governor Laura Kelly on June 3rd, announced appointments to the following state boards and commissions. 

Kansas State Board of Mortuary Arts

Purpose: The mission is to ensure that licensees perform their professional services in a manner providing maximum protection of the health, safety and welfare for the people of Kansas.

Barry Bedene, Arma (reappointment)

Board of Adult Care Home Administrators

Purpose: Establish and uphold regulations for licensing adult care administrators, including complaints against administrators.

Amy Siple, Sedgwick (reappointment)

Heather Pilkinton, Lawrence (reappointment)

Kansas Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Purpose: To advocate for and facilitate equal access to quality, coordinated and comprehensive services that enhance the quality of life for Kansans who are deaf and hard of hearing. 

Kelly Selznick, Overland Park (reappointment)
