Elementary Explorers

Saturday, October 1 & 22, at 10 a.m.

This fun program encourages creativity, exploration, and learning and is designed for students in grades 1-5.

Babies & Books

Tuesday, October 4 & 25, at 10 a.m.

Babies ages birth-2 will enjoy nursery rhymes, simple stories, songs, finger plays, and movements. Open playtime will be offered after storytime.

Sing & Stomp

Wednesday, October 5 & 26, at 10 a.m.

Join us for an active, music-enriched program open to all! Sing & Stomp is a noisy half hour of songs, dance, and fingerplays; no registration necessary.

Preschool Stories

Thursday, October 6 & 27, at 10 a.m.

Children ages 3-5 are welcome to join Miss Andrea at the Groton Public Library for stories and songs!

Learn & Play Playgroup

Wednesday, October 12 & 19, at 10 a.m.

This child-focused playgroup is for young children and their caregivers. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with others, make new friends, and learn by playing in a literacy-enriched environment. Each session will include activities, sensory materials, and toys. No registration is required; just drop-in!

Children’s Grab & Go

Friday, October 14, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Pick up a bag full of fun! Bags include most of the supplies you need, plus instructions, available while supplies last. Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Children’s Book Bundles (Registration Required)

Through October 31

The bundle of the month includes handpicked books, a small craft, and a list of suggested activities to do with the family. Reserve online at grotonpl.org or by calling (860) 441-6750. Participants must have an active library card.
