Guilford County Schools - Deadline to Request Bus Transportation Approaching

Schools and Libraries

June 24, 2022

From: Guilford County Schools

Greensboro, N.C. – The deadline is quickly approaching for Guilford County Schools (GCS) families needing transportation for their students during the 2022-2023 school year.

Families with traditional or magnet students should fill out a transportation preference form if:

-They are new to GCS

-Their family has moved, or the student’s address has changed

-Their student has changed schools

-Their student did not need transportation last school year, but they do need transportation this school year.

Students who received transportation for the 2021-2022 school year and whose addresses remain the same for the 2022-2023 school year do not need to fill out a new transportation request form. The Transportation Preference Form should NOT be completed for students who qualify for special transportation. Families should contact the EC School Support Coordinator at their child's school for any transportation requests or changes.

Families needing transportation can use this link to fill out the form by July 1. Requests made after July 1 will be processed after the 15th day of school in the order received.
