Guilford County Schools - New Teacher Shopping Day at GEA Teacher Supply Warehouse

WHAT: Teachers new to Guilford County will have the opportunity to shop until they drop, thanks to the generosity of Guilford Education Alliance and the Teacher Supply Warehouse. Teachers can fill their carts with everything from pencils to notebooks to hand sanitizer.

WHEN: Friday, August 5, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

WHERE: Teacher Supply Warehouse, 311 Pomona Drive, Suite E, Greensboro

BACKGROUND: The state of North Carolina estimates teachers spend more than $500 of their own money on supplies for their classrooms each year. The Teacher Supply Warehouse is designed to offset those costs by providing high-demand, everyday classroom supplies thanks to the help of volunteers and donations.
