This is the organization's first studio in a public school in the United States. The studio is a space for students to explore, create and record their own music, absolutely free. And the bonus? Students learn 21st-century skills that can prepare them for futures in music production, audio engineering, sound design, podcasting, and so many other creative careers. From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. donors and invited guests will get a first look at the studio space and hear from students who have been recording and producing music.

Who loves good news!? You do!

Twin Takeover *Cute alert*: Peck Elementary – Teachers at Peck Elementary are seeing double. Its two Pre-K programs have FOUR sets of twins this year.

New Teaching Twins – GCS welcomed dozens of international teachers to the district this summer. Two of them are a set of twins from Jamaica. The identical sisters do everything together and when one learned of an opportunity to come to America to be a teacher, her sister, a fellow educator knew she had to come along for the journey. While they came to the district together, they are teaching at separate schools. One is at Vandalia Elementary and the other is at Bessemer Elementary.
