Two More GCS Students Earn National Merit Scholar Awards 

Both students graduated from the Early College at Guilford

Greensboro, N.C. – Two recent GCS graduates have been named to the list of National Merit Scholars for the Class of 2023. Both students graduated from the Early College at Guilford.  

Keval Shah received a college-sponsored National Merit Scholarship from the University of Texas at Dallas. Shah’s probable career field is computer science. More than 3,800 college-sponsored National Merit Scholarships were awarded overall. 

Roma Desai received a corporate-sponsored National Merit Scholarship from the PPG Foundation. Her probable career field is biomedical engineering. About 840 corporate-sponsored National Merit Scholarship were awarded in total.
