We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and we wish you all the best of luck in the new school year! A big congrats to all of our superstar readers who participated in our summer reading challenge!
September is Library Card Sign-Up Month! Children and teens who sign up for their first library card in September can receive a free book! Once you get your card just show a children's librarian (or the teen librarian for teens).
Also coming up in September is Banned Books Week. Stop by between Sept.18 and 24 to check out our displays highlighting frequently challenged books, you may be surprised by what you see!

Lapsit
Every other Monday at 10am
Join Joanna for a baby storytime on Monday mornings in the auditorium! We have storytime supplies for families to use and keep, so that the kiddos can safely participate in this fun program (i.e. shaker, scarf, song/rhyme handouts). You'll get a storytime bag the first time you attend Lapsit, then bring it with you every Monday!
Program geared at ages 0-2 (older siblings welcome)
Program will be outdoors when weather is nice! Then, we will meet on the hill next to the library. Bring a blanket to sit on.
Pre-K Storytimers!
Thursdays at 10am
Join us for reading adventures at Pre-K Storytimers!! We will read stories, play games, do crafts, and have oodles of fun.
This program geared at children who are 3 to 5 years old, and the program may be held outside during nice weather.
Therapy Dogs
The dogs are back! Sign up for a 15 min session to read to one of our adorable therapy dogs - Dottie, Tosh, Finn, or Maverick.
Stories with Finn - Thursday, Sept. 15 at 4pm

Little Explorers
Monday, Sept. 12 and 26 at 10am
Bring your little one in to explore some new types of activities and materials with other little ones.
Ages 0-2, but older siblings welcome.
Make a Nature Journal
Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 4pm
Join Joanna in making your very own nature journal! We will get to decorate them and then learn how to record and draw what you see outside whether it's a fancy flower or a cool animal.
Ages 6-11. Registration is required.
Children's Yoga
Saturday, Sept. 17 at 11am
Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 6:30pm
Get ready for some movement, relaxation, and breathing in fun children's yoga class. Wear your comfy clothes and get ready to move.

Perfect Plants
Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 6:30
Start some seeds from scratch! Plant seeds for flowers and vegetables, and decorate a pot, to put it in, once it has grown.

Art Club
Thursday, Sept. 22 at 4pm
Join Joanna for our new art club! In this club we will be learning about different artists and then trying out their style of work for ourselves. This month we will be learning all about Georgia O'Keffee and her beautiful flowers!

Family LEGO Challenge
Saturday, Sept. 24 from 10-4
Bring the whole family to work on a LEGO challenge together. Once completed the creations will be on display for the week following in the Children's Room.
Half-Day Crafternoon
Wednesday, Sept 28 at 2pm
Half-day? No way! Come on down & play! We'll have lots of fun creating a craft.

Creation Station
Tuesdays at 11am
Experiment with some new types of art, materials, and styles.
Wear old clothes--sometimes we get messy!
