Lapsit
Every other Monday at 10am
Join Joanna for a baby storytime on Monday mornings in the auditorium! We have storytime supplies for families to use and keep, so that the kiddos can safely participate in this fun program (i.e. shaker, scarf, song/rhyme handouts). You'll get a storytime bag the first time you attend Lapsit, then bring it with you every Monday!
Program geared at ages 0-2 (older siblings welcome)
Program will be outdoors when weather is nice! Then, we will meet on the hill next to the library. Bring a blanket to sit on.
Pre-K Storytimers!
Thursdays at 10am
Join us for reading adventures at Pre-K Storytimers!! We will read stories, play games, do crafts, and have oodles of fun.
This program geared at children who are 3 to 5 years old, and the program may be held outside during nice weather.
Therapy Dogs
The dogs are back! Sign up for a 15 min session to read to one of our adorable therapy dogs - Dottie, Tosh, Finn, or Maverick.

Little Explorers
Monday, August 8 and 22 at 10am
Bring your little one in to explore some new types of activities and materials with other little ones.
Ages 0-2, but older siblings welcome.
Jump & Jam with Joanna!
Wednesdays at 11:30am
Join Joanna for a morning of dance, music, and fun! Bring your singing voice and your dance moves and get ready to jam.
For children up to age 10. Registration is appreciated.
Summer Reading Help
Sometimes finding the right book for summer reading and getting started can be hard! Come by the Children's room and we can help you find the perfect book for you. If you want, a librarian can help you get started by sitting to read with you for 10 minutes.

Perler Bead Creations
Tuesday, August 2 at 11am
Join Joanna and create your own perler bead piece of artwork! You will have the choice of following one of the patterns available or making your own up.

Tie Dye Teddies
Tuesday, August 9 at 3pm
Join Amanda for our Camp Craft Series! This week we will be tie-dying teddy bears.

Drag Kings, Queens, and Friends Storytime
Saturday, August 13 at 11am
Storytime with Drag Kings, Queens, and Friends, is a story hour featuring a revolving cast of beloved local Boston performers. Storytime with Drag Kings, Queens, and Friends is a lively pop-up story session with, you guessed it, drag performers and sparkly friends!
For all children and families. Registration is not required but appreciated.
Ed the Wizard Magic Show and Ice Cream Social
Thursday, August 18 at 6pm
Join us for an end of summer celebration! Ed the Wizard's “Reading is Magic" performance will appear at the Haverhill Public Library’s Ice Cream Social. Full of comedy and suspense, be prepared to volunteer and enjoy this family friendly interactive magic performance.
For the whole family, registration is apreciated.
Toddler Drive-in
Saturday, August 20 at 10am
Calling all toddlers for a drive in movie! Create your own car out of a card board box and then enjoy a movie in you "car".
Children's Yoga
Monday, August 22 at 1pm
Get ready for some movement, relaxation, and breathing in fun children's yoga class. Wear your comfy clothes and get ready to move.

Build a Fairy House

Come build your very own Fairy House to add to your garden - who knows what creatures it may attract?

Water Color Cookies
Thursday, August 25 at 11am
Join Mindy, a baker and cookie decorator, in designing cookies using a water color technique. You will get to take home some delicious cookies with your beautiful artwork.
