Spring Book Club Date Confirmed

Mon Feb 27th 6.15pm

Want to join our virtual book club for 2023? We will be reading 'The Crazy Ladies of Pearl Street' by Trevanian - you can find copies at the Book House in Albany. This program is in partnership with the NYS Writers Institute and will be led by Paul Grondahl.  The novel explores life in Albany during the 1930s, and the book club will be followed by a themed-walking tour later in the year.

RPIs Visit to Historic Albany Foundation

RPI  School of Architecture professor, Matt Burgermaster, recently visited Historic Albany Foundation with his students of the 'Continuous Constructions' course. This course focuses on adaptive reuse and design-related questions of material reuse, waste, and the circular economy. We had a wonderful time telling them about the organization's history, a tour of the Warehouse, and a presentation about the Tool Library. We are so happy to see the RPI is focusing on this topic and are looking forward to continuing our relationship with the College.
