Learn how to Preserve and Present your Precious Photographs

Free workshop next Saturday Dec 10th, 12-1.30 pm

There are still several spots available for next week's workshop, so why not sign up and bring some of your treasured family photos along in time for the holidays? We also have plenty of old photos in the Warehouse

The workshop will be led by Mary Jane Zanelli of Mending Memories, who brings back to life faded and damaged photographs so they can be shared, stored, and preserved.

#GivingTuesday - $60 Until we Reach our Goal!

Help us keep providing free and low-cost programs

For 2023 we wanted to focus our #GivingTuesday campaign on a vital part of our mission - our programs.

This year we offered a busy and varied free/low-cost program schedule - can help us continue to do the same for 2023? We would like to raise $1,200; $100 for each month of programming.
This year our calendar included:
- Free workshops (Rewiring, Gardening, How to Build a Relationship with your Contractor, Window Repair, Weatherization, Photo Restoration)
- Tours (Mansion district, 48 Hudson, downtown tours, Dark Side of Center Square tours, Spanish-style Houses, Empire State Plaza, Lincoln in Albany, Washington Park, Cycling tours of the Erie Canal & Downtown, the Stoop Stroll)
- Lectures exploring the building of the Empire State Plaza, The Mahicantuck and its importance, Albany Exchange Neerbosch 2022 (an international program discussing architecture in Albany and the Netherlands)
- The Restoration Faire
- Roscoe Book Club - Our social events that focus on building community (the Warehouse Social and regular Tool Lending Library Socials)
- BUILT art show and auction

We are thrilled to be able to offer such a fantastic schedule of programs, and we always want to be able to offer them free or at a low cost. By donating to our campaign you can make that happen. Thank you for your support!

What's New in the Warehouse?

Put These Babies in a Corner…
We’ve had loads of interest in these two antique corner cabinets. One was professionally built and installed in a home, while it appears that the other had been rather expertly fabricated by someone from an assortment of preexisting components, cabinet doors, millwork, etc. Both will bring extra storage and classic décor to your home.

And now, we’ve significantly reduced the price, so come on in and take another look!

39” x 82 1/2”
33 5/8” x 81 3/4”

Don’t Want to Sit in Church on Christmas?
… but like the look of churches, or just need to seat eight feet of people in your home?

Well, then, we’ve still got some of these midcentury pews left from a salvage we did this past year. And we’ve cut the price in half! Come on in and pick one or two up for your mudroom, hallway, breakfast nook, or front porch!
