Annual Warehouse Social This Saturday
3-5 pm at the Parts

Everyone's invited! Join us at the Architectural Parts Warehouse for a fun few hours this Saturday from 3-5 pm.

Every year we open up our Warehouse doors after hours and invite old friends and new to come in and get to know our organization (and each other) better.

Refreshments and food will be provided, just bring yourself (and maybe your best restoration story).  This get-together is always a great opportunity to meet some of our excellent volunteers and fellow restoration/history/DIYers - hope to see you there!

BUILT 2022 - Thank You!

On behalf of the HAF Board, staff, and volunteers, a very heartfelt thank you to everyone who made Built 2022 a huge success!

This year, our second at the historic and award-winning Argus Hotel on Thurlow Terrace, was a wonderful event.  We enjoyed over 1,000 guests over three nights of parties and two days of free gallery hours.  We welcomed 322 pieces of art by 150 artists, including 40 pieces by young artists.  And, we sold over 70% of the pieces bringing in over $35,000 that we will split with the artists.  We created our first Holiday Gift Shop featuring 24 local artisans’ wares as well.

There are so many people to thank and acknowledge for this wonderfully successful weekend including Christine Miles our Honorary Chair and the Honorary Committee, our corporate sponsors and in-kind donors, our event committee chaired by David Hinchen, and the multitude of volunteers who helped to make the entire event run smoothly.  We owe a debt of gratitude each year to the artists who submit their work, without the artists, there would be no auction.

Special thank you to the Argus Hotel for hosting our event.  If you would like to host your own party or event, you can contact Matt or Terra here.

Please enjoy the photos from the weekend, patronize our sponsors and donors with your business, and stay tuned for details on Built 2023!

Originally called “Armistice Day” and first celebrated on November 11, 1919, in honor of those who fought and died in World War I, Veterans Day has come to be a day to honor all Americans who have served in the military.

We at the Historic Albany Foundation, the Architectural Parts Warehouse, and the Tool Lending Library join in thanking our veterans for their service.

Because we know many of you have Friday off and might have projects you want to get into, the Warehouse will be open our normal hours on Friday (12-6) and Saturday (9-4). Veterans, please let us know so we can take 20% off your purchases this weekend. Tool Lending Library memberships will also be half off.

Finally, join us Saturday from 3-5 for pizza, beverages, and camaraderie.
