How to Heal Your House and a Look at Homewood Library’s Haunted Past

Thursday, January 12, from 6:30-8 p.m. Large Auditorium

Jason Kirby, certified House Healer and owner of Elysium House Healing, LLC, will discuss the art and science of healing your home. Over fifty areas of a house and it’s occupants (past & present) are reviewed in a house healing including paranormal entities, and many type of stressors from geopathic, technopathic, to man-made stress. Homes often have things (such as energy & emotions) left over from previous owners. Sometimes energies are brought in by current owners. Elementals are researched. Clearing, redirecting and healing the house completes the process. Jason will briefly discuss using his healing techniques in a large building like the Homewood Library.

Romance becomes psychodrama in Hitchcock's elegantly crafted Rebecca .The film stars the enchanting Joan Fontaine as a young woman who believes she has found her heart's desire when she marries the dashing aristocratic widower Maxim de Winter (played with cunning vulnerability by Laurence Olivier). But upon moving to Manderley her groom s baroque ancestral mansion she soon learns that his deceased wife haunts not only the home but the temperamental, brooding Maxim as well. This film took home the Academy Awards for best picture and best cinematography.

OLLI Presents - The Life of a Civil War Soldier

Join us as Buddy Moon, Civil War Reenactor, describes the how everyday life and combat experiences of soldiers on both sides during the American Civil War were almost identical. Regardless of which side a solider fought for, he shared a common lifestyle with the men he fought against. Using items from the period, reproduction equipment and photos of the period, attendees will gain insight into America’s great conflict and the men who fought in it.

Dixie’s Pet Loss Support Group
