Our newest public art addition "Ascension" was installed February 24, 2023 and officially revealed on March 1, 2023.

We have a few people & groups we want to thank: JJ Mazzo & Family for the generous donation to help fund the sculpture.

The Town Board members, both past and present, for their support on the project.

The Public Art Commission, both past and present members, for their enthusiasm for bringing public art to the Huntersville residents and their patience through the process.

The Huntersville Park Operations team for prepping the sight and assisting the artist, Landis Sculpture Studio

"Ascension" is made of polished stainless steel and stands over 20' tall with each leaf being 3'-5' wide.

Location: Downtown Greenway Trailhead - 103 Old Statesville Rd.

2023 Mayors' Fitness Challenge

Registration is open! – A friendly and healthy fitness competition between the towns of Huntersville, Cornelius, and Davidson. Residents of the three towns will compete in a six-week fitness challenge to win the title of “Fittest Community”.

The challenge is open from March 12 - April 22, and each week residents will complete activity/exercise minutes and report them.

Special programs will be offered throughout the challenge to gain BONUS points.

At the end of the six-week challenge, the Town with the highest average total will be awarded the “Fittest Community” trophy.

SUMMER SPORTS CAMPS

Registration Opens March 13th

Brunch with a Duck & Bunny

Hop on over to Veterans Park for Brunch with a Bunny & Duck.

Reserve a table for 45 minutes, enjoy delicious brunch and craft while you wait for your Bunny & Duck photo.

Pre-Registration is required as space is limited to only 30 tables. Reservations will open on Friday, March 10, 2023

Fees are to be determined and will be announced before reservations slots open.

There are 3 timeslots available to choose from:

10:00am, 11:00am and 12:00pm.

Tables are 6ft rectangles that fit 4-6 people.

Please sign up as one person and enter the quantity of people attending with your family.
