The Idaho Falls Sidewalk Chalk Festival is a free event created by RiverWest Dental. In a fun and vibrant celebration of art and community, the festival invites everyone to come and admire the stunning chalk art creations. The event is perfect for artists of all ages and skill levels who want to showcase their creativity and connect with the community.

Chalk Masters
Register as a Competitive Artists and compete for our cash prizes! You'll be judged by a committee of local community art aficionados and city representatives. Our first place prize is $1,000!

Chalk Crushers
This category is recommended for younger participants or for those who just want to have fun and express their creativity. The top Chalk Crushers will receive $200! Winners will be judged by an art committee composed of art representatives, city officials and the RiverWest Dental team.

Peoples Choice Award
What's all the chalk about? Create an art piece you think our community members will love! Both Chalk Masters & Chalk Crushers have an opportunity to win in our peoples choice award. Spectators and local residents can vote for their favorite piece up to a week after the event here .

This year, we are very excited to feature some of the areas' top artist. Our featured artist will create jaw dropping creations for the event to give you this years most Instagram worthy post of the year!
