A message from our President
Lisa Wright, M.Div., CFRE

Hello Friends,

The last two years have been challenging for so many. Still, we are so grateful for the team and partners who have helped us continue to positively impact the lives of our community.

From housing to food insecurity to rental assistance, it has been our highest priority to ensure that we create bridges and collaborate to help those most in need.

We recently celebrated our 90th Anniversary with a gala themed “Imagining Tomorrow’s World, Today.” The gala was not only a celebration of 90 years of accomplishments, it was also a recommitting of ourselves to our mission while underlining our work in which we hope to imagine tomorrow’s world. It is essential that we honor our work by continuously envisioning our future, including centering our community.

We are excited to share that we are in the final stages of creating our new strategic plan. Our vision for the future includes alignment of programs and funding towards the purpose of building generational wealth for all; especially those in our community who have been historically marginalized and left behind. It isn’t enough to just go back to normal; United Way’s mission now and for the next 90 years is to empower our community to improve lives for all. We hope you will continue to stand with us and fight for the education, financial stability, health, and housing for all.

Thank you to our supporters, partners, staff, and volunteers who work passionately to support hundreds of thousands of clients every year. Here is to another 90 years of support to the Inland Southern California region.

Thank you for all that you do,
Lisa
