2X Emmy-winning journalist Dana Arschin started working with the HMTC team in September 2022 as the museum’s first-ever Storyteller. She previously worked as an on-air TV reporter and fill-in anchor for Fox 5 and News 12. Dana is a native Long Islander who discovered her passion for journalism at a young age. She made her broadcasting debut in the fifth grade, reporting for her elementary school's first-ever news station— Jackson Broadcasting Kids.

She’s also the proud granddaughter of a 100-year-old Auschwitz Concentration Camp survivor and she has spent the past decade interviewing Holocaust survivors and telling their stories. Dana is excited to bring her unique skillset to HMTC to continue her mission of making sure the world never forgets.

In her short time working with HMTC, Dana has already interviewed several survivors, including a 110-year-old on Long Island. We can't wait to share this story and many others with you. Be on the lookout for emails from us that feature Dana's latest work. And check her out on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for more related content.
