Friends Gift Basket Sale

The Friends of the Library are bringing back their holiday basket sale and need your help!

NOW ACCEPTING ITEM DONATIONS (new or gift quality) for the baskets. Please drop items or completed baskets off at the circulation desk by November 9th. Proceeds from the gift basket sale are used by the Friends to help support the Blackstone Library.

Art Treasure Hunt Extended Until November 13

X marks the spot to be “Heroically Found,” one of the projects in THE EXCHANGE statewide art treasure hunt. Find out more at somethingprojects.net! We’re proud to host this treasure box created by local artist Jen Payne — can you find the prize?!? Come on out, get in on the hunt and see where it takes you!

Access Health CT's Open Enrollment Period Has Opened

Access Health CT's (AHCT) Open Enrollment Period opened on Tuesday, November 1. Individuals can renew their coverage, explore the various policy options for the first time or see if they can save money.

There are several ways Connecticut residents can get free help with enrollment, including:

In-person: There are in-person enrollment locations and events taking place across Connecticut. Find more information at accesshealthct.com/enrollment-events/.
Online: Visit accesshealthct.com. You can learn more about the different plans and find free help online using the "live chat" feature.
By phone: Call 1-855-805-4325. Help is available Monday - Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. Customers who are deaf or hearing impaired may use TTY at 1- 855-789-2428 or call with a relay operator.
Work with a Broker: To find a Certified Broker or Enrollment Specialist, visit accesshealthct.com/get-help/

Two Ways to Help This Holiday Season!

The Community Dining Room is seeking donations of both food and diapers, and the Blackstone is now an official drop-off location! From now until Wednesday, November 30th you can drop off your donations in the donation boxes in our lobby, or they can be accepted at any desk.
