Panels
Creating and Teaching Comics
Join local comic creator and educator Seth Wolfshorndl as he details his adventures in self-publishing comics in a variety of styles over the years, such as Rook City, Duel, and Random Ink. He will share a preview of an upcoming comic and walk through the process of creating it digitally. He will also discuss teaching high schoolers how to create their own comics and share activities and resources that will help inspire others to do the same!

Dream Theater Co
Our favorite acting troupe is back and ready to take the JoMoCon stage! The Dream Theatre Co. is a local acting group known for many popular performances, including Firebringer and Bonnie & Clyde. Settle into your seat to hear some tales that only these local thespians can tell, as well as sneak peaks of their upcoming performances. To top it all off, they will also put their acting talents on full display for our attendees.

From Angels to Goddesses
Where some just see the daily grind, Tamara Hart Heiner sees dragons to be slain and kingdoms to explore. She is an author who creates young-adult fantasy novels, romance series, and childrens books from her home in Northwest Arkansas. Her works include the Guardian Angel Academy and Goddess of Fate series. If you find mystical beings braving the perils of high school to be intriguing, then come by for our conversation with this up and coming writer!

Missouri Southern ESports
About two years ago, an ESports team emerged from the many student clubs and associations at Missouri Southern State University. The team competes in games ranging from Rocket League to Super Smash Bros. In this panel, MSSU ESports President, Jamarion, will tell us all about the team and the experiences of competitive ESports. As a cherry on top, you might even get to see some professional gaming live!
