Schools and Libraries

August 1, 2023

From: Jonathan Trumbull Library

It’s been a wild, rainy, and humid summer! Don’t forget to stop by the library and cool off in our beautiful, new, air conditioned building!  If you haven’t signed up for Summer Reading yet, there is still time. We have officially registered more than 200 participants so far – can you help us reach our goal of 250 before August 18? Sign up and start earning cool prizes for all your summer reading!

August will feature more great library programs, including 4-H Take and Make crafts, a hand embroidery workshop, journaling with DPNC, tai chi, yoga, and more. Come learn the language of flowers in a hands-on workshop, and don’t forget to join us on August 18 at 4 PM for our big, end of summer party! Come celebrate the end of summer and one year anniversary of our renovated library. Join us for outdoor games, activities, music, and other surprises! If you participated in Summer Reading, be sure to bring your completed reading trackers to claim your prizes, and all tickets will be entered for grand prizes.
