U.S. Access Board Discontinues its Technical Assistance 800 Phone Number

The U.S. Access Board discontinued its technical assistance toll-free 800 phone number, but it continues to offer technical assistance via 1-202-272-0080, extension 3, and by email at [email protected] from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (ET) weekdays. Accessibility specialists are available to answer questions on accessibility as it relates to the built environment, outdoor sites, streets and sidewalks, transportation vehicles and vessels, information and communication technology, and medical diagnostic equipment.

John Wodatch is an excellent speaker. He was director of the Disability Rights Section of the US Department of Justice for many years. His presentation style is easy to understand and provides insight into why the decision is important.

(1) All attendees must provide proof of their vaccination status (fully vaccinated with at least one booster, if eligible) to be allowed to enter the meeting venue. There will no exceptions to this requirement.

(2) All attendees must take a rapid antigen test the first morning of the event and have a negative result to enter the venue. A vendor will be available onsite to help attendees take a rapid antigen test and provide proof of their result. This service is free to Summit attendees.

(3) All attendees must be masked at all times (an N95 or the equivalent). Masks will be available for attendees if they need one. Help will be available if attendees need assistance putting on or removing their masks.
