Sensory-Friendly Night
Wednesday, November 16th | 5:30 PM - 7 PM

Join the Town of Chapel Hill and Kidzu for this FREE monthly program specifically for children with different needs. Explore Kidzu without the noise, crowds, and stimulation of the typical museum visit. We limit the number of families who can attend and provide adaptive equipment such as noise-reducing headphones, sand timers, fidget toys, and visual schedules.

Tuck In the Garden
Sunday, November 20th | 2 PM - 3:30 PM

Help Kidzu put the garden to sleep for the winter at our last garden event of the season! Join us for family-friendly crafts and activities as you explore the garden. This event is FREE and weather permitting.

Nest Sessions
Various Days & Times Throughout November

Join Samantha Shannon, a Kidzu educator with a Master’s in Early Childhood Education and 10 years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and caregivers. Each session includes time for childdirected play, collaborative art and STEM projects, and group story time. Come play!???????

Junior Gardeners
Thursdays until November 17th | 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

This FREE informal program allows visitors to drop in to our outdoor learning space and help Kidzu staff care for the garden. Water plants, place silk flowers in our dig plot, arrange the fairy garden, and more! Nature books and simple activities will also be available.

Parents' Night Out
Saturday, November 19th | 6 PM - 9 PM

Leave the childcare to us! Kids will enjoy a fun–filled night, including exhibit exploration, a staff-led activity, and dinner from Alfredo’s Pizza Villa. This drop-off event is currently for children ages 3 – 9 (must be potty independent). Kids will exercise their minds, bodies, imagination, and independence.

Robo Rave
Saturday, November 19th | 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Join the East Chapel Hill robotics team, Eastbots, for an afternoon exploring the amazing abilities of technology! Eastbots will help you interact with their competition robot, Giannis. Plus, head into Kidzu’s makerspace, The Makery, to learn how to program our own robots! Included with admission.
