Virtual Supported Playgroup

Join us on Zoom for guided learning activities for infants, toddlers, and caregivers! This FREE 8-week session integrates early literacy and STEM activities into daily routines, encourages connections amongst caregivers, and focuses on caregiver and child health and wellness. Children ages 0-3 and their caregivers who are residents of Orange County only.

Sensory-Friendly Night

Wednesday, October 19th | 5:30 PM - 7 PM

Join the Town of Chapel Hill and Kidzu for this FREE monthly program specifically for children with different needs. Explore Kidzu without the noise, crowds, and stimulation of the typical museum visit. We limit the number of families who can attend and provide adaptive equipment such as noise-reducing headphones, sand timers, fidget toys, and visual schedules.

Spooky Science Garden Party

Friday, October 21st | 5 PM - 6:30 PM

Join Kidzu for the last Friday evening garden party of the season! Explore Spooky Science with family-friendly crafts, experiments, and demonstrations. Halloween costumes are encouraged! Complete our “party passport” to snag a discounted slice of pizza from Alfredo’s Pizza Villa! Also earn a BOGO coupon to Maple View Ice Cream!

Admission is FREE. This event is weather permitting.

Junior Gardeners

Thursdays until November 17th | 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

This FREE informal program allows visitors to drop in to our outdoor learning space and help Kidzu staff care for the garden. Water plants, place silk flowers in our dig plot, arrange the fairy garden, and more! Nature books and simple activities will also be available.
