Junior Gardeners

This FREE informal program allows visitors to drop in to our outdoor learning space and help Kidzu staff care for the garden. Water plants, place silk flowers in our dig plot, arrange the fairy garden, and more! Nature books and simple activities will also be available. Every Thursday (May 5th - November 17th), 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM.

Summer Camps

June 13th - August 19th | 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Don't miss out! Camps are in full swing at the museum and we want to see YOU this summer! Join us for a week filled with creative exploration, tinkering, and making at Camp Kidzu! We’ve partnered with Mad Science to offer camps for ages 6-11 in addition to Kidzu’s camps for ages 3-5. Kidzu members save 20% on Kidzu-led camps!

Storytimes

Bookworm Buddies: Thursdays & Saturdays @ 4 PM

Create lifelong learners with a passion for reading while Kidzu provides a lively storytime experience with movement-based stories. Join us and squirm with the bookworms!

Stories & Songs: Tuesdays & Fridays @ 11 AM

Read, sing, and play! A fun early literacy experience, perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. Spotlights a variety of books and themes.

This summer, Kidzu is partnering with WIC and the Chapel Hill Farmers' Market to bring our community accessible, engaging and family-friendly programming! Visit our booth to participate in our FREE themed activities! This event takes place at the University Place parking lot.
