Gardens by Day, Light by Night

This summer, Longwood is beautiful gardens by day and the magic of Light: Installations by Bruce Munro at night.

Stroll through our gardens awash in brilliantly blooming annuals and perennials, or discover a starlit getaway with our Illuminated Fountain Performances and live music in the Beer Garden Thursday through Saturday evenings.

Experience the wonder that is Light. On view Thursday through Sunday evenings through October 30, beginning at dusk, this new, breathtaking exhibition features eight installations spanning our indoor spaces and outdoor vistas. Light ... complemented by live music in the Beer Garden and Illuminated Fountain Performances Thursday through Sunday evenings. 

From vibrant summer blooms to dancing fountains to dazzling artistry, everything but the everyday is here.

Illuminated Fountain Performances

Running seasonally, our Illuminated Fountain Performances offer a spectacle unlike any other. Find a place to sit-or stand back in awe-as water in all shapes, sizes, and heights combines with music and infinite colors. Before or after the 30-minute show, stroll through the five-acre garden for a nighttime experience evoking old world charm.
