In response to President Biden’s new actions to curb China’s unfair trade practices and put American workers first, the Maine Democratic Party released the following statement:

 

“Last summer, President Biden came to Maine to sign his “Invent it Here, Make it Here” executive order supporting American manufacturing, and now he's announcing even more actions to make American companies more competitive.

 

423,000 manufacturing jobs have been created under President Biden, which is a stunning recovery from the 154,000 manufacturing jobs shipped overseas under Donald Trump.

 

President Biden is bringing back American manufacturing and jobs lost under previous administrations, and Mainers know we must re-elect him this November to have a President who will keep fighting for workers and middle class-Mainers.”
