Happy Holidays from the staff of the Mansfield Public Library!

While you are busy checking your lists for the holidays, don't forget to check out all the wonderful events happening at the library this month. We have some fun holiday inspired programs to get you in the spirit.  We are hosting our 3rd Annual Gingerbread House Challenge for All Ages from Dec. 7 - Dec. 21st. Stop in to learn about Christmas Past in Mansfield with the Mansfield Historical Society on Dec. 10th, then join us for an evening of holiday music with the Renaissance V Brass Quintet on Dec. 20th! Then, on Dec. 21st, all are welcome to our monthly matinee! This month, we are showing the 1947 holiday classic, Miracle on 34th Street!

The Youth Room is celebrating a seasonal favorite with gingerbread inspired programs and fun! During school vacation week, be sure to come to The Pumpernickel Puppet Show on Friday, Dec. 30th!

Be sure to take a few minutes to fill out our Community Survey above. Help us move the Mansfield Public Library into the next 5 years.

Special Programs

3rd Annual Gingerbread House Challenge for All Ages!
Wednesday, December 7 – Wednesday, December 21

All are welcome to participate in our Gingerbread House Challenge where participants can create their very own gingerbread house using Graham crackers and candy!

This is a fun challenge for kids, teens and adults!

Gingerbread House kits will be available on Wednesday, December 7th from 10:00AM to 6:00PM to the first 30 registrants. Once all kits are spoken for, those interested can still enter the contest using their own supplies.

Submit pictures of your Gingerbread House creations by Wednesday, Dec 21st, to be entered into a raffle to win a prize! There will be a prize for each age group: Children, Teens, Adults.
