Solid Sound Festival
May 27–29

Solid Sound is almost upon us, and we’re ready to rock. Wilco kicks off the fabled festival this Friday with a release party for their brand new album Cruel Country, playing it live for the first time, ushering in a weekend of fresh tunes (we’re looking at you, Sylvan Esso), riotous comedy (all hail Nick Offerman), and acres of art. Full fest and Saturday passes are sold out, but you can still grab tickets to Friday and Sunday below, and check out the full schedule here.

Solid Sound is May 27-29; if you're looking forward to an intimate art experience, please consider visiting another weekend. All outdoor spaces, including outdoor exhibitions, will be closed to museum visitors.

Proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or negative test will be required for all visitors May 27–29.

Amy Yoes Burns Her Own Art
Hot Corners is On View Beginning May 28

For the past decade, artist Amy Yoes has been playing with fire, creating installations reaching up to 17 feet high, which she turns into choreographed fire events. Hear Yoes discuss how building art only to burn it down embraces the ephemerality of life and how the charred remains of her performance seen above, Fire Project #10, will be incorporated into her exhibition Hot Corners, on view at MASS MoCA beginning this weekend.
