Volunteer Tech Teachers/Helpers Wanted!

Mastick Senior Center is looking for volunteers with aptitude for operating digital devices such as smart phones, tablets, personal computers and internet browsing software. Many senior citizens struggle to place and receive phone calls, take and share pictures, stay connected to their families, keep up with businesses and services that require them to use a personal computer or the internet. If you are comfortable with these tasks, enjoy the company of grateful seniors and communicate patiently, you could make a significant difference in the lives of older Americans. Mastick offers traditional classes, one-off seminars, support over the phone and one on one help. If you’d like to be part of our Tech-Help Team, please email Katherine, “Kat” Kaldis at [email protected] to apply. Or, stop by the Mastick Lobby to obtain a volunteer application.
