Former Guilford County Schools (GCS) teacher Michael Logan has been sworn in as a Board of Education member representing District 3.

Action comes after Bill Goebel, who has held the District 3 seat since April 4, 2023, resigned the position earlier today. Goebel was appointed to replace former District 3 board member Pat Tillman, who was elected and sworn in as a Guilford County commissioner.

Logan was a teacher with Guilford County Schools for more than 25 years, most recently as an automotive teacher at Southern High. He resigned on March 22, 2023.
