The fires in Maui, the deadliest conflagration in modern U.S. history left us all shocked and saddened, and the mountainous recovery the people face is unfathomable. Given the popularity of Maui among Mill Valley and Bay Area vacationers, and just the sheer horror of this tragedy, the MV Chamber teamed up with Vintage Ruse at 256 Shoreline Hwy., and we raised nearly $3,000 to support the recovery. PHOTOS BY CAMERON CRESSMAN. FULL STORY.

A Mill Valley Week-Long Restaurant Rally Is Set for  Host a Sept. 10-17!
To celebrate downtown Mill Valley’s recent makeover, restaurants around the plaza are uniting to host a one-week Restaurant Rally. The promotion encourages diners to discover restaurants along the square and revisit their old favorites. Restaurants will offer diners a special 3-course prix fixe menu for $55 (September 10-17), as well as an $8 specialty cocktail to complement their meal. FULL STORY.
