Naked Truth: Real, Stories, Live.

Consummate storyteller Josh Healey emcees our fall show. Our lineup includes Bay Area storytellers Reyna Amaya, Julie Soller, and Joshua Walters along with Mill Valley native and returning favorite Kari Kiernan. Audience members can drop their name in a hat to tell a one-minute story in the Lightning Round.

Adults and high school students only! Free wine reception at 6:30pm for pre-registered guests. Waitlist line opens up at 6:45 on a first come, first served basis.

Where the Door Opens: Writing Poetry of Place

Join Emilie Lygren in this series of three generative poetry workshops which will focus on writing about place. To spark ideas for poems, we will explore the local environment, make use of scientific observation skills, call on our memories, and consider historical perspectives. We’ll also discuss how writing can connect us to our communities and ourselves. All ages and levels of experience with poetry and writing are welcome!

This is Home: The Story of World War II Marinship and the Legacy of Marin City, with Felicia Gaston

Tween LEGO Club

Once a month tweens and teens will come together to assemble challenging LEGO sets! This is a collaborative program to build some of the more difficult LEGO kits. While building, tweens/teens will enjoy a coinciding movie and snack.

Cook the Hocus Pocus Cookbook!

Fire up the cauldron and get witchy in your kitchen with this delightfully creepy cookbook, inspired by the beloved Halloween classic Hocus Pocus! Join the authors of Hocus Pocus: The Official Cookbook for a cooking demo and terrifyingly tasty treats. Elena Craig and S. T. Bende will lead a hands-on demonstration of one of their original recipes inspired by the spellbinding world of Hocus Pocus, and participants will be served light refreshments.

Bilingual Storytime with Yara

Join Teacher Yara for a fun-filled Bilingual Storytime in English and Spanish. This storytime is for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers. Every other Sunday at 2:00pm. Ages 0-5. No registration required.
