Holiday Book Sale at the Hodge

Art Opening Reception

“Collectively Inspired” an exhibit of paintings by students of Kathleen L’Hommedieu.
This group show includes paintings by Mary Eddy, Kathy Flynn, Ann Marie Foran, Jan Greco, Jade Holton, Elizabeth Kaney, Lisa Mahon, Didier Malaquin, Katushka Millones and Carla Shere. Each student chooses a medium of oils, acrylics, oil pastels, watercolor or mixed medium and they are all unique in their interpretation and style.

Morning Yoga with Kimiye
1st Wednesdays (12/7)

Right after school drop-off so you can start your day relaxed and centered!
Drawing from her yoga, dance and pilates training, Kimiye aims to get your body opened up, centered and feeling strong. Bring a mat and towel. All levels are welcome.

This class is free of charge but a suggested donation of $10 is encouraged with proceeds benefitting a the Center for Human Development (www.chd.org)

NASA Update
& Apollo 17 Anniversary

NASA Ambassador Bill Cloutier returns to our library with an update on NASA news as well as a look back on the Apollo 17 mission to the moon.

Author Talk: Jonathan Darman 
"Becoming FDR"

Jonathan Darman is an award-winning journalist and historian who writes about American politics and the presidency. His newest book, Becoming FDR, examines Roosevelt’s battle with polio and the effect the illness had on his development as a political leader.

Mr. Darman will be joined in conversation with Jim Kelly, Books Editor of Air Mail.

World Cup Final Watch Party

Calling all soccer fans!

Join us at the library to watch the world’s biggest sporting event.

We’ll be projecting the game on the big screen and will have small bites to enjoy. BYO snacks or drinks if you’d like.

A library staff member will walk your child to the library from Booth School. In the event that school is cancelled, the program will be as well.
