New Rep Theatre | Through October 15

New Rep currently has two spectacular shows in our Black Box Theater. Lorraine Hansberry’s groundbreaking drama, A Raisin in the Sun, is a searing and timeless portrait of a family on Chicago’s South Side, and an American classic.

Diaspora!, a SpeakEasy Stage commission as part of the Boston Project, follows a local writer tracing her lineage to the rise of the civil rights movement and a certain young minister making waves at the Twelfth Baptist Church and Boston University. Check website for individual performance dates.
