Your Story. Your Museum.
Dear Members and Friends,

As 2022 draws to a close, we wish to acknowledge all who have contributed to our many successes. Thanks to you – our members, donors, visitors, community partners, volunteers, staff, and board members – this past year has been a time of positive change and growth. Certainly, we have faced challenges as we have slowly and cautiously emerged from the pandemic. But as we have worked on the planning and design for our most ambitious exhibition in years, Sonoma County Stories, we are excited to look ahead to the coming year.

Sonoma County Stories will be a permanent history exhibition featuring the oral histories of Gaye LeBaron as well as inclusion of the rich and diverse range of cultures in our county. During the past year it has attracted wide participation and support. Now, looking ahead to the spring of 2023, we invite all to celebrate the cultural wealth, fascinating history, and natural beauty of our county through this ambitious new exhibition. You too can be a part of history by contributing to this important project that will provide a resource for history, education, and storytelling programs for years to come.

While our historic Post Office is closed for installation of Sonoma County Stories, we are proud to present in our Art Gallery one of the most unique exhibitions in years. Please plan a visit to see Art of Risk: The Innovative Sculpture of Michael Cooper. It’s so amazing you’ll be inspired to tell all your friends.

Thank you again for your support and best wishes for the New Year! We look forward to hearing and sharing your Sonoma County stories.
