Join the Museum of Sonoma County for an evening of open mic style spoken word in our new community gallery as we discuss, Why Guns? Our current exhibit Art of Risk: The Innovative Sculpture of Michael Cooper, asks the question about "why guns"?

“As kids, we would play cowboys and Indians, and everyone wanted to have a cap gun. That was just a way of playing – of course, we were playing with guns. I think one of the problems of our society is that we participate in some seemingly innocent behaviors that can feed into violent behavior later on.”

—Michael Cooper
