New Beginnings Golf Tournament To Support Area Homeless

New Beginnings of Central Florida hosted their 13th annual golf tournament held at Orange County National Golf Course on a beautiful sunny September day. Everyone came together to have fun and to raise funds to help transform and restore lives of people at soon to open New Beginnings Village.

With 14 corporate sponsors and 65-hole sponsors, New Beginnings was supported by a full field of golfers. Many donated prizes for the tournament participants. Upon arrival, golfers were treated to breakfasts by Dunkin’ and Chic Fil A as well as shirts by Kristin Jamieson Mortgage Team and welcome bags by Tax Pros of Clermont. Hilgardt Lamprecht of Life Wealth Group was the Title sponsor who welcomed the golfers before they teed off. With plenty of gift baskets for a raffle and donations for a silent auction, many went home with great gifts.

New Beginnings Executive Director Steve Smith shared, “Linda and I are sincerely grateful for the many supporters who came out to participate in our annual charity golf tournament. The weather was perfect and the revenue raised brings us closer to create New Beginnings Village-affordable housing for homeless families. “.

Rave Reviews! Everyone shared enthusiastic rave reviews! Financial Advisor Hilgardt Lamprecht of Life Wealth Group noted, “We want to thank your New Beginnings team. We are very happy to support and sponsor such a great cause.” Mark Compton, owner of Mark's Floors shared, “We want to give a thumbs up for hosting another great charity golf tournament. As a New Beginnings Board Member, I applaud the many they have served over the past 16 years!” Heather Thies added, “Our Clermont State Farm team and I had a great time at the New Beginnings Golf Tournament. New Beginnings with Steve and Linda Smith are to be congratulated for 16 successful years of providing a hand-up, not a handout. We enjoyed the golf and the fellowship. We look forward to partnering with New Beginnings, as we both are transforming lives and futures throughout our community.” Supervisor of Lake County Elections Alan Hays noted, “Thank you for hosting a great golf tournament event and for asking me to announce golf winners as well as auction prize winners. I am always willing to help New Beginnings." Culver's Clermont store owner Manny Montanez shared, “Thank you Steve and your New Beginnings team so much for allowing me and my team to participate in this amazing golf event. We all had a blast.” Patrick Bianchi of VP Development was on the United Southern Team with Victor Berriel & Mike Bucher. He shared, “The New Beginnings Golf Tournament was an amazing event to a great cause! It was filled with friendly competition, beautiful scenery, and a sense of camaraderie among the participants. It really was a memorable day!”

New Beginnings of Central Florida remains dedicated to help the homeless and less fortunate in central Florida to transform their lives through counseling services, securing a sustainable wage job, and living in an affordable home.
