Vaping and Marijuana: What Is the Impact On Our Lungs?

In collaboration with Stamford Health: Connecticut's recent legalization of marijuana and growing popularity of vaping can have significant impacts on our lung health. Join Dr. Michael Bernstein, Associate Director for Pulmonary and Critical Care at Stamford Hospital, for a presentation on potential side effects and facts that we need to know. Register here

Parents and Tweens: Connect with Your Tween with Dr. Amanda Craig

Meeting the Needs of Siblings of Children with Disabilities

Gentle Yoga at the Library (Drop-in)

March 13th, 20th, 27th, 10am - 11am Jim & Dede Bartlett Auditorium

We have teamed up with the New Canaan YMCA to create a tranquil, foundation-building class designed to introduce new students to yoga, as well as offer regular practitioners a gentle class to complement their yoga practice. Participants must bring their own yoga matt. 

This is a drop-in class, no registration is required, offered every Monday at 10am.

Cricut Crafts: DIY Flower Press

March 30th, 6pm - 7:30pm, Anderson MakerLab

Spring is here- join us to make your own flower press for drying flowers. We'll upcycle wood, cardboard and paper to make the press then personalize it using the Cricut machine to cut vinyl decals. For adults and teens ages 12+. Register here
