National Library Week
April 23-29

National Library Week is a celebration of libraries and everything they provide to communities! Follow us on social media to keep up with our latest news and to see how you can participate in National Library Week! 

Plant Sale! 
Save the Date: May 20th!

The countdown to one of our favorite Springtime events has begun! The Friends of the Newbury Town Library are having their annual plant sale on Saturday, May 20th beginning at 8am. Last year plants sold very quickly so we recommend getting there early to get your preferred selection. They will also have raffle tickets for some great things!

Youth Happenings

Happy National Poetry Month! 

Win a prize by bringing us a poem in your pocket! Just bring in a poem, either one you like or one you wrote, and trade it in for a prize at the Children's Desk!

Teen Survey

Calling all teens!!! If you are in grades 6-12, let us know what kind of services you'd like to see here at NTL by taking our survey and be entered to win a $25 Lexie's gift card! Take the survey here!

BollyX Dance & Fitness Class 
Sat., April 8th @ 11 a.m.


Get moving with this Bollywood-inspired dance-fitness program that combines dynamic choreography with music from around the world. This 45-minute cardio workout cycles between higher and lower-intensity dance sequences to get you moving, sweating, and smiling!

Our Library of Things features activities that can be fun for the whole family. Plan a family baking day with our assortment of cake pans, or go on a wild adventure with our birdwatching kit.

We Want to Surprise You!

Not sure what to read? Don’t have time to place holds? Let us surprise you!  Fill out our Surprise Book Bundles form, and our Youth Services staff will select various books for you to read.  Available for ages 0-18.

-Got a question? Ask us! Staff is available by email to answer your questions. We will try to respond within 24 hours on business days. 

-You may place holds from other libraries.  

-Comfy on the couch? Explore our Stay At Home Library which includes eBooks, eAudiobooks, and the rest of our online collections, including universal classroom, Kanopy streaming movies, and more. These resources are also great if you're on the go (what better for a roadtrip than free movies and eBooks)!

-Did you know that you can sign-up for an e-card from the Boston Public Library at bpl.org/ecard — anyone who lives or works in MA can get one!

-We understand that not everyone has access to WIFI. WIFI is always available in the parking lot, and around the grounds. We have benches available outside with WIFI accessibility, too! We also have WIFI hotspots available for check out.
