The Friends of the Newbury Town Library are excited to bring back Harvest Fest!  While we won't have the our annual soup/chili contest, there will be lots of other great things happening at the Newbury Town Library.

Join us for community fun Saturday, October 23rd from 10am - 2pm.

What’s on tap this year

Touch A Truck (1-2pm = quiet hour for touch-a-truck)
Let the kids investigate a police cruiser, motorcycle, ATV & more provided by the DPW & Newbury Police Dept.

Raffle of Valuable Gift Cards
Take a chance to win prizes such as Blue Man Group, Restaurant Gift Cards & many more. Tickets will be available for purchase at the Circulation Desk beginning Friday, Oct. 1st

Literary Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Decorated pumpkins will be accepted 10am Tues. Oct. 19th through 10am Sat. Oct. 23rd and must reference a work of literature.  Pumpkins will be on display at the library. A Judges Award and a People’s Choice award will be awarded – come cast your vote!

Snacks, Crafts & Games
There will be "Take & Make" crafts to bring home, lawn games to play (like corn hole, bocce, and croquet) along with snacks and drinks to enjoy.

Curated Book Sale table!

We will also have the Friends popular Newbury caps & flags available to purchase

Join us for Touch-A-Truck, we will have vehicles from the police, fire department, DPW, and more! Check out all the cool vehicles in our town.
A special hour for our sensory sensitive will be siren free from 1:00pm – 2:00pm.

This is an outdoor event. Rain or Shine!
