Sharing Culture Through Food with Chef Trisha Pérez Kennealy

Please join Chef Trisha Pérez Kennealy for a culinary celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Trisha will demonstrate how to make mofongo and empanadas and share cooking tips and tricks.

Autumn Wreaths and Centerpieces
Wednesday, September 20 at 7pm

Decorate your house with whimsical fall pieces to highlight the changing of the seasons. This class will be a creative and relaxing experience as you arrange your decorations and create a lovely autumn centerpiece. *Patrons who sign up should own a hot glue gun and be able to use it safely.

Join us at the library for our Bad Art Night. No Talent? No problem! Come get creative without the pressure of being perfect, or even good. Participants will create their very own “disaster-piece.”

September Main Hall and Gallery Art Show

Newton Art Association Art Show

Newton Art Association will be displaying almost 60 works of art at the Newton Free Library. All forms of media will be on display in the Gallery and throughout the Main Hall.

With over 200 members, the NAA represents a broad range of talent from artists based in Newton and neighboring communities, containing both realist and abstract themes.
