Dance Me a Story

The Joanne Langione Dance Center brings us this fun, family event where music, movement and literature align to encourage exploration and imaginative play!

Virtual Pajama Time
Monday, September 11 at 7pm

Get ready for bed by listening to these stories and songs that will help you drift off to dreamland.

Ages: 3 and up

Make Way for Storytime
Tuesday, September 12 and Thursday, September 14 at 10am and 11am

Start your day with stories, songs and rhymes led by Newton Free Library children’s librarians.

Ages: 0-2

Nature Explorers
Tuesday, September 12 at 4pm

Come learn a little about the world around us as we explore the wonders of nature! This month we'll explore the color spectrum and rainbows!

Ages: 3-6

Little Beats
Wednesday, September 13 at 10:30am

Join Little Beats for 30 minutes of yoga inspired movement! This event is best for ages 1-5 and their adults, but all are welcome

Drag Story Hour
Wednesday, September 13 at 3pm

Join us for a joyous program in collaboration with the Boston chapter of Drag Story Hour for a family storytime featuring picture books, songs and a simple craft.

Write Stuff
Wednesday, September 13 at 6:30pm

This second grade writing program meets monthly. Each month we will learn about a different type of writing, including creative writing, non fiction, comics and small moments. When you register, you register for ALL 5 sessions: 9/13, 10/11, 11/8, 12/13 & 1/10.

My First Storytime
Friday, September 15 at 10:30am

A songs and stories lapsit program for children, birth through 23 months, and their caregivers.

Build-a-Bug
Friday, September 15 at 4pm

Come create a new paper friend to take home! Base your bug off a real species or get creative and start your own insect group!
